Report a game bug
Please describe what you expected, what happened instead, and the action immediately before the problem. Include whether you were playing Daily or Unlimited, the puzzle label shown above the board, and the number of swaps remaining. A screenshot can help when colors, layout, or a dialog are involved, but remove any unrelated personal information before attaching it.
Browser and device details are also useful: for example, “Safari on an iPhone” or “Chrome on Windows with keyboard controls.” You do not need to find a version number unless you already know it. If refreshing fixed the issue, say that too. These details help separate a puzzle-data problem from an interaction or display problem.
Question a puzzle or clue
If a letter’s feedback appears wrong, identify the row or column and mention whether the tile is at an intersection. Repeated-letter reports should include the full five-letter line as displayed. Feedback uses an independent quota for each target word, with correct positions counted before misplaced copies, so a board screenshot is often the clearest way to show a surprising case.
For a Daily puzzle, include its date or displayed puzzle number. For Unlimited, include the label visible in the game. Please avoid sending only “the puzzle is impossible”: the exact letters and state allow the board to be checked without guessing which run you saw.
Share accessibility feedback
Reports about keyboard navigation, screen-reader announcements, focus order, touch target size, contrast, reduced motion, zoom, or unclear instructions are especially valuable. Tell us the assistive technology and browser if comfortable, plus the control or message that caused trouble. A useful accessibility report does not need technical terminology; describing the blocked task is enough.
Swapcakes aims to expose the same puzzle meaning beyond color alone and to keep every action reachable from a keyboard. If that goal is not met in your setup, please say what information or action was missing. We may ask a follow-up question to reproduce the issue accurately.
